The Lambing Flat Festival in 2010 is the 150th anniversary of the first gold strike in Young! Events are scheduled for throughout the day and will include:

Bushranger & gold mining artifacts display

12/04/2010 - We wish to advise that on the 11/04/2010 the Lachlan Living History Group informed the festival organisers that they would not attend the Lambing Flat Festival despite having made an agreement with the Young Visitor Information Centre. At this moment of time the Young Visitor Information Centre wishes to advise festival goers that it has engaged an alternative company to hold the muzzle loading re-enactment with an antique firearm however they do not have the same extensive range of weapons as the Lachlan Living History Group. We apologise for any inconvenience.
